Modern elegance. Legendary performance. In an elegant fusion of technology, performance, and stylish good looks, our new Reflection Series speakers deliver clean, balanced sound worthy of our thirty-year heritage. Performance is the monarch of this line’s feature set. Cutting-edge drivers and rigorously designed crossovers are enclosed in an ultra rigid, internally braced cabinet featuring a scratch-resistant high gloss finish that will endure years of play. That means these speakers will make themselves at home in any environment from living room to home theater. And after three decades of perfecting the Boston Sound, you can be sure these speakers will sound every bit as good they look. The RS260 is a robust bookshelf speaker using a 6½ -inch Deep Channel Design (DCD) woofer coupled with a new 1-inch Extended Wide Bandwidth (EWB) tweeter. The woofer employs Fiber Ceramic Copolymer Material (FCCM) cones providing the rigidity and low mass required producing an exceptionally smooth response and extended bass. The new EWB tweeter follows the design found in our flagship VS Series Super Wide Bandwidth tweeter. Its diaphragm is terminated to a metal plug at its center (creating a dimple)—stabilizing linear motion to significantly lower distortion while improving dispersion, power handling, and clarity. The RS260 is compact enough to sit comfortably on virtually any shelf, stand or tabletop and delivers amazing sound for its size. In a two-channel music system (with or without a subwoofer), as surrounds in a multichannel system, or as front speakers paired with the RS 244C as the center speaker, this versatile system will impress. Meticulously designed and solidly crafted, the most discriminating enthusiasts will revel in its performance.
